Undoing Dominant Masculinity Panel
Community leaders share their thoughts on and experiences with dominant masculinity. How do popular conceptions of masculinity influence gender identity formation and sexuality? What does normative masculinity look like? How can patriarchal models of masculinity be challenged? How can we foster genuine and meaningful feminist engagement among men?
Block and Screen Printing
Come learn some basic screen-printing and block printing techniques! Screen print your own CLIT Fest patch and learn how to carve and print linoleum. Small linoleum blocks, carving tools, paper, ink and fabric will be provided. You’ll leave with new printmaking skills and a work of your own creation! Taught by CLIT Fest organizer Izzy Jarvis and printmaker Olivia Horvath.
Harm Reduction with members of H.I.P.S.!
Harm reduction is a set of practical strategies that help reduce the negative consequences of drug use and other activites that can carry a mental and physical health risk. This will be a discussion/panel on harm reduction with dc community members who practice it in their workplace and also their every day lives. Call Me Out: Community Response to Abuse & The Calling Out Process with Support New York
Intimate Abuse doesn’t only affect individuals, but friends, families, and communities. In the past decade, a new politic of radical accountability to confront abuse and sexual violence, that avoids using oppressive structures like the police and prison systems, is being built. The struggle of working to support survivors and transforming those who’ve caused harm is a key component in encouraging and building healthy and safe communities. While this work is riddled with complications, conflict, and dead-ends, there can also be real transformation. Join Support New York as we share some useful tools and experiences in fighting intimate abuse.

Radical Consent: From Hookups to Relationships with Ben Pivot
When it comes to sex, consent is the best-kept secret. In this workshop, The Consensual Project puts in plain words the nuances of consent: from a thorough definition of consent to tools for practicing consent, and much more. All through the workshop are humorous interactive discussions and valuable exercises that keep everyone energized and involved. And by the end of the workshop, participants leave convinced that consent is worthwhile for one simple reason: they now know what consent can and will do for them.
